(English or original language only). The Help
menu links to pages such as 'Frequently Asked

Library' (including Glossary) and Extra
tools such as desktop wallpapers.

ENERGY STAR Partners
Office equipment manufacturers who want to register their ENERGY
STAR qualified equipment will find more information
here. Also, large institutional and private business buyers,
as well as retailers interested in promoting energy efficient office
equipment can find information on the benefits of becoming
an ENERGY STAR Partner here.
[1] The EU ENERGY STAR
programme follows an Agreement between the Government of the US
and the European Community (EU) to co-ordinate energy labeling of
office equipment. It is managed by the European Commission. US partner
is the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), that started the scheme
in the US in 1992 (European
Council decision PDF (97kb).
