How to join ENERGY STAR?
When your public institution is a customer, your organisation can share in the succes of ENERGY STAR by joining the EU ENERGY STAR program and becoming an ENERGY STAR Partner. This means you can use the ENERGY STAR logo to promote your organisation as environmentally aware.
Customer partners
- Implement a policy which ensures ENERGY STAR compliant equipment is purchased.
- Ensure that ENERGY STAR features are enabled wherever compliant equipment already exists on the premises.
- Undertake to educate employees about the features and benefits of activating ENERGY STAR features and procuring ENERGY STAR equipment.
- Provide information to the EU and/or National ENERGY STAR program about energy and financial savings made due to their actions under the agreement
Partnering requires registration of your organisation. The use of the ENERGY STAR logo on products and promotion materials are described in the Guidelines for Use.
