Technical library

Complementary to the general introduction to PC hardware components in Computer Land and the Glossary dealing with the most common abbreviations, this Technical Library gives a description of the main components of a PC.

Articles in this library were first conceived for the Future Electronics project, concluded in 2002 for the French energy agency ADEME (that has given permission for its re-use), and updated to the latest state-of-the-art [under construction]. Author of these specific articles is René Kemna, VHK. Other research institutes in the same project were ITS (UK), Sigma Consultants (F) and Telefication (NL).
